🚶‍♀️📖🚶‍♂️Our first Storytime in Motion display, "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" by Mo Willems, has been moved indoors due to forecasted weather conditions and is ready for readers!

This story begins at the front door and continues down the hallway to the library. We hope families can take a few minutes to enjoy this fun book together during parent/teacher conferences.

🫘🫔 UPDATE 🫔🫘 We are so sorry to share that due to the current boil advisory and the severe weather expected on Friday, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Bean Supper Fundraiser. The safety of our families, volunteers, and community comes first, and we want to make sure everyone can attend and enjoy the event safely. We truly appreciate all the support, donations, and time that so many of you have already given to help make this event possible. We will share a new date as soon as it is confirmed. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

Due to the water boil advisory from the city of Paul's Valley, Whitebead Schools will move to a virtual day tomorrow. There will be a packet pick up from 9am- 10:30am tomorrow. Parent/Teacher Conferences will go on as scheduled. All other Whitebead events for Friday at this time will continue as scheduled until we receive more information. We are sorry about the inconvenience and late notice.

Mr. Vines’ 8th Grade Algebra class put their data skills to work this week! 📊 Students created a scatter plot comparing height and foot size to see if there was a correlation. It was a fun, real-life way to explore relationships between variables and practice graphing skills. Hands-on math makes learning stick — great job, Algebra students! 👏

It’s National Nutrition Month!! 🍎

Smart serving means being mindful of portion sizes and nutritional value! 🍽️ By offering appropriate amounts, we can prevent overeating and encourage healthier habits. Include a variety of fruits, veggies, and whole grains for better flavor and nutrition. Let’s practice smart serving for healthier choices and improved well-being!

Mrs. Day’s preschool class learned about shadows this week! ☀️😎 Students learned what a shadow is and how to make one in the light--both inside and outside. Students also hosted a shadow-hand puppet show. For today’s project, each student created their own paper shadow, measured the height, and decorated the shadow to resemble themselves.

Mrs. Briscoe’s Pre-K class had a blast acting out The Three Little Pigs this week! 🐷🏠 So much creativity, teamwork, and fun learning happening in Pre-K! ✨

🚀👽🪐 Reading is out of this world—and so are our Spring Book Fair decorations!

A huge shoutout to Candra Adams, Cheyenne Casey, Jessica Evans, and Tracey Young for their incredible creativity and hard work in bringing the universe to life in our library hallway.

Spring Picture Day is coming soon!

Mr. Vines’ 7th grade Pre-Algebra class took learning outside this week! ☀️📏 Students were putting their skills to the test with indirect measurement, using proportions and similar figures to determine the height of objects around campus. Real-world math in action! Hands-on learning like this helps concepts truly click — and the sunshine didn’t hurt either. Great job, Mr. Vines and 7th grade! 👏📐

We are so proud of our Whitebead students who took the stage last week in the Missoula Children's Theatre production of Sleeping Beauty! After just one week of rehearsals, they delivered a truly magical performance.

Students who were part of this year's production include Abigail Alvarado, Helen Newton, Addy Pletcher, Chael Pletcher, Macie Poole, Aurora Salgado, Ella Satterfield, and Calvin Jay Walker

Congratulations to these talented Chiefs for representing our school with pride — you truly stole the show!

We are excited to see everyone tomorrow night for a fun community event!

After finishing the novel in the fall, our 8th graders had the most amazing opportunity to visit the The Outsiders Museum in Tulsa. Students stepped into an immersive experience that brought the book’s themes, characters, and historical setting to life.
