Whitebead was recently selected as a recipient of The Bodacious Book Drive.
This outreach program targeting rural schools in Oklahoma is funded through private donations and fulfilled by Best of Books in Edmond.
In addition to receiving over $800 in books, the students were treated to special presentations encouraging students to read.
